The Desert View Inn is a place of humble beginnings.  It has been offered for hospitality to road travelers since the 1960s.    This motel was one of the original Motor Lodges in New Mexico.  Presently, the Desert View Inn motel is undergoing changes. We are upgrading the rooms and the grounds.  Some changes are a throwback to the good ol’ days; of the drive up motor lodge and good times.  Other changes are tuning heads in the circles of style and comfort.  We want your stay at the Desert View Inn motel to be filled with Good Vibes enjoying the good life of living in the Southwest Sunshine!  We love the the simple pleasure of a good nights rest, and with quality linens and a comfortable space, you will get a great room at a great price.  That's why we think The Desert View Inn is the best little 2 star hotel around!

​PARKING at the Inn is always FREE, with ample space for boats and RVs.  In the classic Motor Lodge experience, park right in front of your motel room door.

Exterior (110/115v) electric plug-ins are available by room entrances for boats and other low voltage needs.

Loading and unloading is easy because your room is just steps away.

ROOMS are CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, SMOKE FREE, AWAY FROM TRAFFIC and have a table an  A TESLA supercharges is just a few miles up the hill   There are outdoor seating, chairs at each unit at their entrances. Each room now has a 43" Smart TV.  WIFI is available for no additional charge. and the owner of the local gym "House of Pain" opens his doors to the Desert View Inn guests free of charge during their stay.   The covenanted historical hot springs district is just a few minutes away.

The Inn has deck seating by the office and also on the back patio with BBQ grill, perfect for relaxation.   There is a small grassy fenced in area for our canine guests.

There are comfortable smoking areas, nestled amongst shady desert foliage.
